Most plants that die indoors die of bad soil, not bad watering. Garden soil compacts into a brick in a pot, holds water against the roots and suffocates them. This mix is built the other way round — cocopeat for moisture, compost for feeding, and perlite plus coarse sand for drainage — so water passes through and air still reaches the roots. It is pH-balanced, sieved, and ready to use straight from the bag for every plant we sell except succulents and cacti.

How to use it

• Fill the pot two-thirds, place the plant, then top up — do not press the soil down hard.
• Refresh the top 2 inches every 6 months to keep it feeding.
• For succulents and cacti, cut it 1:1 with extra sand or perlite.
